Technical Book Illustration Redesign

I am refreshing a published technical book and need every existing illustration (190) re-worked in a clean, modern style that makes each concept instantly clear to the reader. You will receive the current colored illustrations (mostly line drawings with labels), along with the surrounding text, so you understand precisely what each diagram explains.

Your task is to reinterpret them—not merely trace—so they look cohesive, contemporary, and easy to follow when printed and when viewed on tablets and e-readers. I’m open to your creative approach as long as the result serves the primary purpose: explaining the concepts with maximum clarity.

I’ll supply:

• original artwork files (PDF/PNG)
• a short brief for any figure that needs extra context
• the layout specifications for print (300 dpi CMYK) and digital (RGB, scalable)

You will deliver:

• fully editable vector files (AI or SVG)
• high-resolution PNG exports sized for the book layout
• a simple style guide covering colours, stroke weights, and fonts so future updates stay consistent
