Teach Me Logo Design Fundamentals

I am ready to step into freelancing and want to build a solid foundation in graphic design, with a clear focus on logo creation. My goal is to move from complete beginner to confidently producing portfolio-worthy logos that clients would be happy to pay for.

Here is what I’m looking for:
• A structured, hands-on learning path that walks me through the entire logo design process—from research and sketching through vector work and final presentation.
• Guidance on industry-standard tools such as Adobe Illustrator (or equivalent software you recommend) so I can work in scalable vector format.
• Real-world practice briefs, followed by detailed feedback that helps me improve each iteration.
• Tips on best practices for freelancing: pricing a logo project, communicating with clients, and showcasing work on platforms like Behance or Dribbble.

By the end of our sessions I should be able to:
• Design an original, professional logo from concept to final files (AI, SVG, PNG).
• Explain my design decisions clearly to a potential client.
• Package deliverables in a way that meets common freelancer standards.
