Job Description
I am looking for a skilled and creative designer to help build a high-quality Etsy store focused on stained glass patterns and construction plans.
The goal is to create a consistent and professional brand offering unique stained glass patterns (PDF/SVG) along with realistic visual mockups of finished stained glass pieces.
This is a long-term collaboration for the right person.
Main Responsibilities
1. Stained Glass Pattern Creation & Modification
Work from existing designs (public domain or properly licensed)
Modify and adapt designs to create original, store-exclusive patterns
Ensure patterns are:
Clean and well-structured
Suitable for stained glass construction
Properly divided into pieces
Clearly readable and printable
2. Technical File Preparation
Deliver professional construction files:
PDF (300 DPI, print-ready)
SVG and/or AI (vector format)
Include:
Clear line work
Optional piece numbering
Proper scaling and layout
Files must be ready for immediate use by stained glass artists
3. Realistic Stained Glass Mockups (Very Important)
Create high-quality, realistic images of the final stained glass designs
Mockups should include:
Natural lighting
Glass texture and transparency
Lead or copper foil lines
Showcase designs in realistic environments (windows, doors, interior settings)
Produce images optimized for Etsy listings, including:
Main listing image
Close-up details
Pattern preview
Finished result visualization
Required Skills
Experience in stained glass or leadlight design
Strong vector illustration skills (line art)
Proficiency in:
Adobe Illustrator (or equivalent)
Photoshop / Affinity Photo (for mockups)
Strong artistic sense (lighting, colors, composition)
Attention to detail and consistency
Nice to Have
Previous experience creating Etsy digital products
Understanding of Etsy listing visuals and conversion
Knowledge of stained glass construction techniques
Deliverables
