Specialized Bag Design & Tech Pack

I need a Fashion Designer who has experience in Designing Bags such as fanny packs, boot bags and a few other specialty carry-solutions—through to factory-ready status. That means translating each concept into polished 2D/3D drawings, detailed specs and a complete tech pack that a manufacturer can execute without guesswork.

Beyond the visuals, I need guidance on selecting fabrics, trims and hardware that balance weight, durability and price. You should be comfortable discussing weave, denier, coatings and finishing techniques, and be able to specify the right stitching methods for stress points, waterproof seams and reinforcement panels.

I will measure success by three things:
• Finalized design files (Adobe Illustrator or similar) with clear call-outs for dimensions, pattern pieces and sewing lines.
• A comprehensive tech pack covering BOM, graded size charts (where relevant), colourways, construction notes and QC checkpoints.
• Material and stitching recommendations matched to each bag’s intended use, complete with supplier references or industry standards.
