Freelance Graphic Designer

Patients Mirror is looking for an exceptional Freelance Graphic Designer to join our growing creative team.

This is project-based freelance work (not a full-time employee position) with the opportunity for ongoing assignments.

Patients Mirror is a Canadian healthcare communications and patient engagement company. We work with patient organizations, pharmaceutical companies, healthcare professionals, and advocacy groups to create meaningful programs that improve education, awareness, and patient outcomes.

Print materials

Trade show displays
Motion graphics support

We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has outstanding graphic design skills

- Creates clean, modern, agency-quality work

- Has exceptional typography, layout and visual communication skills

- Understands brand standards and can work within established brand guidelines

- Has experience designing for both print and digital media

- Works independently, manages deadlines and communicates professionally

- Has exceptional attention to detail

- Is fluent in written and spoken English. Strong English communication skills are essential, as our work involves collaborating with healthcare professionals, patient organizations and pharmaceutical clients.

- French language skills are considered a strong asset but are not required.

- Must be legally able to work as an independent contractor in Canada and provide invoices for services.

Healthcare, pharmaceutical or life sciences experience is an asset, but exceptional designers from other industries are encouraged to apply.

Software Requirements:

Must be proficient in:
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop

Experience with Figma, Canva, Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro is considered an asset.
