Scientific Illustrations Needed
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need detailed scientific illustrations for academic publishing. I have AI-generated designs but need help finalizing them using a variety of software packaged per what I'm told (Inkscape, Graphviz, Vegas Editor, Adobe Illustrator, etc)
Requirements:
- Deliverables: JPGs at 300 dpi minimum (or exact pixel sizes), sRGB color, no color shifts; retain vector crispness; consistent fonts.
- Inputs: SVGs, DOT file (or its rendered SVG), Vega-Lite JSONs with target look and color palette.
- Resolution: Choose 300–600 dpi for JPG exports (or specify pixel width, e.g., 3500–5000 px).
- Colors: Use sRGB; avoid CMYK unless preparing for print with a specific profile.
- Line weights: If a figure looks thin after export, increase stroke widths slightly in the SVG before exporting.
- JPG vs PNG: PNG preserves sharp lines better; convert to JPG only if required, and use high quality (95–100).
