Scattered Reflections Cover Design

I’m wrapping up a memoir for my children and grandchildren, titled “Scattered Reflections.” The writing jumps between eras and experiences, and I want the cover to echo that sense of a life’s mosaic—abstract, fluid, and unmistakably about a journey rather than any single milestone.

Here’s what I need from you:
• An abstract illustration that visually suggests movement through time—fragmented shapes, layered colors, shifting light, whatever you feel best conveys a long, winding life journey.
• The title “Scattered Reflections” worked into the design; my name can remain secondary or omitted until I confirm final text layout.
- I imagined broken & scattered mirror would be used in some way.

Deliverables
• Print-ready front cover at 6" × 9" with 0.125" bleed (PDF or high-resolution TIFF).
• Layered source file (AI or PSD) so minor text tweaks can be made later.
• A web-friendly JPEG/PNG for sharing with family online.

Acceptance Criteria
1. Abstract style is clearly dominant; nothing should feel photo-realistic or cartoonish.
2. The overall mood communicates a lifelong voyage—quiet nostalgia and forward motion rather than specific achievements.
3. Colors and composition remain legible when scaled down to thumbnail size.
