Recreate Construction Signage Templates
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I recently bought a small construction-signage subcontracting firm and inherited dozens of legacy Adobe Illustrator templates. They open with missing-font errors in the current Creative Cloud release, and several layouts look dated. I need fresh, fully compatible files so my creative director (my wife) can drop in project-specific information without wrestling with technical glitches.
Scope
The job is to rebuild our Directional, Informational, and ADA / code-compliant sign templates from scratch (vector, CMYK, layered). While the overall look and function must stay recognizable, please modernize the typography and tidy any alignment or spacing issues. Feel free to suggest subtle layout improvements that enhance clarity and consistency across the set.
Deliverables
• Editable .ai files (latest Illustrator version) for each template type
• Linked and embedded fonts replaced with current, license-free alternatives
• A short style guide noting font choices, color values, and artboard sizes
Acceptance Criteria
1. All files open in Illustrator 2024 with zero missing-font or missing-link alerts.
2. Layouts preserve the hierarchy and critical call-outs of the originals while reflecting updated type and cleaner grids.
3. ADA templates comply with standard contrast ratios and sizing guidelines.
I will supply the existing AI files immediately after award. Looking forward to handing these off to someone who loves neat, production-ready artwork as much as we do.
