Realistic Fantasy Cover Illustration
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
My upcoming fantasy novel needs a visually arresting cover that instantly transports readers into the story’s magical setting. The mood should feel elegant and immersive, with sweeping landscapes, luminous details, and a touch of awe—yet rendered in a realistic illustration style rather than cartoon or abstract work.
Here’s what I will need from you:
• A full-wrap cover (front, spine, back) prepared at 300 dpi, CMYK, sized to my printer’s exact template
• A front-only version optimized for Kindle and other e-book platforms
• Layered source file (Photoshop or Illustrator) so future text tweaks remain easy
While the main character can appear in the composition, the environment must dominate: think soaring castles carved into cliffs, moon-lit forests, or mist-laden valleys where the magic feels palpable. Rich color grading, purposeful lighting, and believable textures are essential.
Send initial sketch concepts first so we can lock the layout and overall atmosphere before moving to final paint. Once approved, I’ll provide final trim and bleed specs along with barcode placement.
Final artwork should be ready for upload with no additional adjustments required on my end. If that sounds clear, let’s begin discovering the perfect scene to welcome readers into this world.
