Realistic Children's Book Illustration – 20 Spreads

I have a completed children’s book manuscript and detailed art notes for twenty full-bleed spreads. The visual tone I’m after is realistic rather than cartoonish or whimsical, and I already have clear character model sheets and colour references ready for you.

The project covers everything: the twenty interior illustrations plus a cohesive front-and-back cover that ties in seamlessly with the inside art. I will be publishing in both print and digital formats, so each piece needs to hold up at 300 DPI CMYK for print (trim size and bleed specs supplied) as well as RGB web-ready files for e-book platforms. Layered PSD or AI files are preferred so the printer can make any final adjustments without flattening the art.

Once we begin, I’ll share the full manuscript, page-by-page art direction, and the existing character sheets. I’m happy to review rough thumbnails, then cleaned-up sketches, colour studies, and finally polished finals so we can keep revisions light and predictable.
