Pop Art Styled Real Estate Poster
Budget: $15 – $25 CAD
I need an eye-catching 48" x 68" media poster that explains my real estate counselling service through one cartoonish illustration divided into four concise sections. Each section will visually represent the problem through to a solution, all tied together with a friendly, approachable tone that makes the information easy to absorb at a glance.
This large-scale print media piece is advertising my new business as a 'housing consultant'. Instead of being the realtor who says homeowners should sell in order to find the property that will meet their new needs, I am the guy they can trust to figure out how they can stay. I am the realtor who doesn't want you to sell. For an hourly rate, I will determine whether their needs can be met and what it will take for that to happen. A summary of these services should be included somewhere on the ad: A seasoned realtor educated in urban design, urban planning and urban development with 35 years experience in the new home and resale markets. I analyze your existing property., assess your specific current & future needs, & offer custom solutions that provide an alternative option to selling for a reasonable fee.

The aesthetic of this piece should be in the pop art style of Roy Lichtenstein because it will be immediately identifiable. I want to utilize the vibrant colours of that style to capture people's attention. Some inspirational images (which can be sent to you) include a Monopoly house (of course, slightly changed to avoid copyright) with a keyhole and light shining through that keyhole. Another might be 'talking heads' representing a couple arguing about what to do with their home. I also like the idea of cartoon Me popping into frame somewhere, possibly saying "I do house calls!", but I'm not married to that.
I would love for you to take these ideas and inspiration and run with them to create something engaging, eye-catching and that makes the goal of my business easily understood.
