Party Card Game Design
Budget: €750 – €1,500 EUR
I’m seeking a talented illustrator to bring my game to life — a strategic card game inspired by the brigand era in 19th-century southern Italy.
The tone is dark, poetic, and rooted in folklore: dusty hills, moonlit ambushes, wooden crosses, and faces worn by sun and betrayal.
The visual goal is to blend folk realism with symbolic simplicity — evocative, recognizable, and printable. Think Caravaggio meets tarot cards, with a modern indie touch.
Scope
• Design a complete set of card illustrations, including Role Cards (3) and Action Cards (7 objects — day/night variants).
• Create visual consistency across all cards while preserving variety and atmosphere.
• Develop a unifying style guide: color palette, texture, iconography, and typography suggestions.
• Deliver print-ready files (PDF or layered format) suitable for prototype testing.
• Optional: illustration for the box cover and a poster or title card for promotional use.
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience with tabletop or narrative games.
• Confidence in historical or folk-themed illustration.
• Familiarity with InDesign, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
• A feel for lighting, texture, and mood storytelling.
Deliverables
14 Action Card illustrations (7 symbols × day/night)
3 Role Card illustrations
Box or title illustration (optional)
Source files + print-ready exports
One revision cycle after feedback
Timeline & Collaboration
This is a creative collaboration: I’ll provide detailed references, card texts, and feedback at each stage. I aim to deliver a prototype-ready visual set within 6–8 weeks, with flexibility tailored to your workflow.
Cannot wait to hear from you!
