Part-Time Academic Graphic Organizer Needed

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Graphic Organizer to support the design and dissemination of weekly visual content for academic events. This includes seminars, workshops, guest lectures, calls for papers, and international summits. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of academic visual identity, be proficient in graphic design tools, and capable of translating abstract academic themes into engaging, informative digital graphics aligned with institutional branding.

Key Responsibilities:
Weekly Graphic Post Creation: Design and deliver 1 polished post per week (static or animated), highlighting key academic events such as upcoming talks, deadlines, speakers, or milestones.

Visual Consistency & Branding: Maintain consistent visual identity across all materials, in line with the university and IEEE/academic guidelines (e.g., color palette, fonts, logos, tone).

Template Development: Create and manage modular Canva or Adobe templates to streamline future designs and enable rapid edits.

Event Highlight Graphics: Produce eye-catching digital flyers, posters, LinkedIn and Instagram visuals, infographics, and speaker cards as needed.

Coordination & Edits: Collaborate with the academic lead for each event to ensure timely feedback, incorporate speaker bios/photos, and revise content accordingly.

Content Adaptation: Resize or reformat graphics for multiple platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, academic newsletters, Moodle pages).

Archiving & File Naming: Maintain organized folders and naming conventions for all assets created.

Required Qualifications:
Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva Pro, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or Photoshop.

Strong portfolio of social media or academic poster designs.

Familiarity with academic/research tone and event types (seminars, CFPs, symposiums, etc.).

Excellent sense of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.

Ability to work independently, meet weekly deadlines, and communicate effectively via email or collaborative platforms.

Understanding of academic disciplines such as engineering, computer science, or communications (for accurate visual representation).

Deliverables Per Week (Typical):
1 main post (e.g., speaker announcement, countdown, or event highlight)

Optionally: 1 resized version for stories or secondary platform (e.g., Instagram story or LinkedIn banner)

Revised drafts if needed (based on feedback)
