New EDC logotype
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
Project: New EDC (European Dealer Council) logo — clean, modern, flat.
1) Goal
Design a new EDC master logo that combines VW + Audi brand symbols with the EDC wordmark and two lines of text:
European Dealer Council (main signature)
Voice of Retail (strategic claim)
The final look should be minimal, corporate, and highly legible, based on the provided reference layout (same visual hierarchy and spacing).
2) Required layout (match the reference)
Create a horizontal logo lockup in this order (left → right):
VW symbol (flat 2019 style — precise reproduction)
Audi rings (classic 4 rings — flat, modern look)
Thin vertical separator line
EDC (bold, modern wordmark)
To the right of “EDC”, stacked text:
Line 1: European Dealer Council (primary, darker)
Line 2: Voice of Retail (secondary claim, lighter color)
Keep proportions and whitespace close to the reference: compact, aligned, and balanced.
3) Branding elements
VW logo: Use the 2019 flat VW style (clean strokes, circular outline, modern geometry) — must look accurate and not “inspired by”.
Audi logo: Use four interlocking rings in a flat, 2D style (no gradients, no chrome).
EDC wordmark: Bold, modern, professional feel (geometric sans or similar). Should read strong and institutional.
4) Style rules
Flat design only (no gradients, shadows, bevels, 3D, embossing).
Crisp vector geometry, consistent stroke weights where applicable.
Alignment: all elements optically aligned to a baseline; rings and VW should sit neatly as a compact group on the left.
Clear hierarchy: “EDC” is the strongest element; “European Dealer Council” is second; “Voice of Retail” is third.
5) Colors (suggested, adjustable)
Main dark navy for VW symbol + EDC + “European Dealer Council”
Audi rings in solid black or very dark grey
“Voice of Retail” in a lighter blue (accent)
Deliver also:
Full-color version
All-black version
All-white version (for dark backgrounds)
6) Deliverables (must-have)
Provide:
AI / SVG (fully editable vectors)
PDF (vector)
PNG (transparent background) in sizes: 4000px wide, 2000px wide, 1000px wide
A small brand sheet (1 page) with spacing rules and color codes (HEX)
7) Variants
Please include:
Primary horizontal lockup (as described)
Compact version (VW + Audi + separator + EDC only) for small headers
Icon/symbol option (if possible): simplified “EDC” monogram or compact badge (no tiny text)
8) Notes
Do not copy-paste trademark files blindly; recreate clean vectors that match the style and proportions.
The output must be suitable for web, print, and presentations.
