Minimalist YouTube Thumbnail Design

I’m preparing my next video and want a thumbnail that feels minimalist and clean—think uncluttered layout, plenty of breathing room and a single focal point that pops. The thumbnail must blend an eye-catching image with concise, legible text that still reads clearly when the graphic is shrunken down in the recommendations feed.

I’ll share the video link, title ideas and brand fonts. You can either suggest a striking frame from the footage or point me toward a suitable royalty-free stock photo; whichever option supports the concept best is fine by me.

Deliverables
• Ready-to-upload PNG, 1280 × 720 px, under 2 MB
• Layered source file (PSD, AI or Figma) so I can update text in the future

The design should remain readable at 10 % size, sit safely within YouTube’s title-safe zone and maintain consistent color across devices. Please include a couple of recent thumbnails you’ve produced in a similar minimalist style so I can quickly gauge fit.
