Minimalist Business Book Cover
Budget: $30 – $250 NZD
I’m commissioning a contemporary, minimalist cover for my upcoming business book. The design must feel professional and shelf-ready, instantly signalling “this book has substance” to ambitious entrepreneurs who pursue both results and wellbeing.
Focus & Aesthetic
• The title should command immediate attention; author name and subtitle can remain understated.
• Typography needs to be clean and simple—no ornamental flourishes.
• Neutral tones (black, white, greys) will dominate, with accent shading used sparingly for hierarchy and depth.
Deliverables
1. Print-ready full-wrap cover (front, spine, back) in CMYK, 300 dpi PDF.
2. Editable source file (Adobe InDesign or Illustrator preferred).
3. Separate high-resolution JPEG/PNG of the front cover for online retailers.
Acceptance Criteria
• Layout fits my provided trim size and bleed specs.
• Text remains legible at both full size and thumbnail.
• Visual balance achieves a calm, uncluttered feel while exuding authority.
I already have the basic concept and layout I can send you. Just needs some flair. I need to see your previous work for book covers.
Once the concept is approved I’ll provide the exact title, dimensions, and back-cover copy so you can complete the final artwork.
