I’m revamping Canarsie News and need a clean, contemporary emblem that instantly signals trustworthy local journalism. The logo must remain minimal yet memorable, so negative space, simple geometry and a restrained palette are all welcome.

• A balanced combination of text and image: the eye should move naturally from a compact symbol to the words “Canarsie News.”
