Marine Graphic Design for Custom Sonic Boat

have a 42' custom Sonic that’s about to be repainted / vinyl-wrapped, and I need the full-scale artwork prepared first. I already own a reference image of another boat whose look I want copied—same colour palette, graphics, logos, everything. The brief is therefore an exact replica rather than a fresh concept; the creative challenge is translating that reference into a precise, production-ready template that my paint shop or wrap installer can send straight to the plotter.

I will supply high-resolution photos of the reference boat plus the exact hull measurements and any manufacturer drawings I have. From you I’m expecting:

• A true-to-scale vector template (Illustrator, EPS or PDF), layered and clearly labelled
• Colour call-outs in Pantone or CMYK so the installer can match paint or vinyl
• A separate, flattened preview jpeg I can share with my team

Experience preparing large-format marine graphics, wraps, or motorsport liveries is ideal. If you’re used to working in Adobe Illustrator and understand bleed, panel overlaps and contour-cut paths, this will be straightforward.

Turnaround: I’d like first proofs within a week of kickoff so the boat can hit the paint bay on schedule. Let me know your experience with similar wrap projects and how quickly you can start.
