Manuscript Layout & Image Editing

I’m preparing a 368-page manuscript for publication and need a skilled editor who can handle both the text and the visual elements in one seamless pass.

First, the interior must be fully conformed to MLA style: margins, headings, running heads, pagination, and overall typography. Alongside that, I’d like a thorough proofread to clean up any lingering grammar or punctuation issues so the book reads smoothly from cover to cover.

The manuscript contains numerous graphs and photographs. Over the next few days I will supply the final image set; once they arrive, I’ll count on you to bring each one up to publishing standards—colour correction where necessary, resizing to fit the page design, and adding clear labels or annotations before placing them in the layout.

When we’re finished I need two things:
• A print-ready PDF that any printer can take straight to press
• The packaged source files (InDesign or equivalent) with linked, high-resolution images
