Luxury Business Card Vector Prep
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I already have the finished business-card design as high-resolution mock-ups; the artwork itself is locked in. What I need now is a technically flawless vector build that a luxury print house can drop straight into production.
Scope
• Recreate the front and back exactly, redrawing every element in Adobe Illustrator so the final artwork is 100 % vector.
* Recreate the botanical and geometric motifs (flower, leaf, squiggly line, circle, triangle) from my mockups as vectors, spaced exactly as shown. These motifs should be on a separate emboss layer in the final print file.
• Set up spot‐colour swatches for each Pantone ink specified in the mock-up.
• Create dedicated layers for foil, emboss and deboss plates, naming them clearly (e.g., “FOIL_GOLD,” “EMBOSS,” “DEBOSS”).
• Include correct bleeds, trim, and safe zones; align everything to a true 300 dpi print grid so there is zero shift when output to CTP. No design changes—only minute alignment or spacing corrections if required for production tolerances.
Deliverables
1. Native .AI file with editable Pantone swatches and separate finish layers.
2. PDF/X-1a ready for press, pre-flight-checked (no RGB, fonts outlined, overprint preview on).
3. High-resolution EPS as an additional fallback format.
Acceptance will be based on a clean pre-flight report (no transparency errors, correct colour spaces, spot layers intact) and a quick visual proof from the printer confirming the foil/emboss plates line up perfectly.
