Logo for Resolute Guardian Press
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My first non-fiction title launches this December under the new imprint “Resolute Guardian Press,” with three follow-up books already in the pipeline. I need a timeless logo that can live on spines, social headers, challenge coins, and merchandise while reflecting the four-pillar ethos at the heart of the series—Warrior, Guardian, Shepherd, Protector.
Key visual cues I want to see explored are a side-profile chess knight, crossed swords, and a curved laurel wreath. If all three elements can coexist harmoniously, that’s ideal; if not, the knight must take priority. Beyond those anchors I’m flexible on style—classic, modern, or minimalist approaches are all on the table as long as the final mark feels authoritative yet approachable to parents, spouses, leaders, coaches, and, of course, fellow crisis negotiators and martial artists.
I’ll share three existing concept sketches from my challenge coin to serve as launch points. From there I’m expecting:
• A primary full-color version and a one-color variant
• Scalable vector files (AI/SVG) plus PNG/JPG exports
• Clear typography and color specs so the mark stays consistent across future titles and marketing
Once the final artwork is approved, I’ll roll it straight into the December book cover, so an efficient revision cycle is essential.
