Modern Logo & Icon Design
Contest Description: Modern Logo & Icon Design for ZOMZEY
Brand Name: ZOMZEY
Abbreviated Mark: Z
About the Brand
ZOMZEY is a brand built on the principle of convergence — a deliberate meeting point between two distinct worlds, genres, or communities. Rather than belonging exclusively to one space, ZOMZEY exists precisely at the intersection, making duality and unity the defining pillars of its identity.
Design Objective
We are seeking a distinctive, modern logo and icon that visually communicates the concept of two things coming together. The mark should feel intentional and dynamic — not a compromise between two aesthetics, but a confident fusion that creates something entirely new.
Creative Direction
The central concept is meeting in the middle. The logo should convey a sense of balance, energy, and convergence without feeling generic. The "Z" letterform is the anchor of the brand and should feature prominently, either as the primary mark or integrated meaningfully into the icon.
In terms of colour, the preferred palette draws from mindful purple (calm, introspective, premium) at one end and coral orange (warm, energetic, expressive) at the other — representing the two worlds the brand bridges. That said, this direction is open to creative reinterpretation; no decisions are final, and strong alternative concepts are welcome.
Deliverables
Submissions should include a primary logo lockup, a standalone icon suitable for use at small sizes (app icons, favicons, profile images), and at minimum one light and one dark background variant.
File Requirements
Accepted formats: GIF, JPEG, JPG, PNG. Vector source files are strongly encouraged where possible.
What Will Make an Entry Stand Out
The strongest submissions will treat the concept of duality not as a visual cliché (e.g., a simple split or mirror effect) but as a genuine design problem — finding a mark that feels whole and singular while still carrying the tension and complementarity of two distinct forces meeting.
