Logo design for Dates shop

I am commissioning a fresh, modern, and minimalist logo for Dateri, a premium date-based dessert shop. I have a foundational icon (attached) that merges a 'D' with the organic silhouette of a Medjool date.

The Goal: Enhance the icon to feel more balanced and 'fluid' while maintaining its minimalist line-art style.
Typography: I am looking for a modern font with subtly rounded terminals to evoke an 'edible' and approachable feel. It should have enough visual weight to stand alone on packaging as a primary wordmark, yet remain balanced when paired with the icon. I’m leaning toward a soft geometric sans-serif or a modern humanist font it needs to feel appetizing and organic, avoiding anything too sharp or corporate.

Deliverables:
