LED Graphics Producer for Live Sports Event
Budget: £100 – £700 GBP
LED Perimeter Board (Dasherboard) Graphics Producer - Live Sports Event, Pixel-Exact Export Work
We're a live-events production company (NYC) looking for an experienced production graphics freelancer to build and export LED display graphics for a high-profile televised sports event happening mid-July. Fast turnaround, spec-exact work - this is production, not concept design.
The work:
Build sponsor logo loops for an LED perimeter board system (rink/pitch dasherboards) from an LED vendor's pixel map: one continuous raster ~40,000 × 256 px, split into 8 sections at exact pixel coordinates, with physical gaps that must stay black
Export both full-raster masters and per-section slices, named to spec, as flat RGB PNGs ready for the LED processor
Prepare sponsor logo assets: rasterize vector files (AI/EPS) cleanly, recolor/prep white versions for dark backgrounds, match client-supplied layout mockups exactly
Build simple big-screen (jumbotron) slides at 16:9 and at LED-native resolutions
Apply revisions same-day as sponsor approvals come in
You must have:
Strong Photoshop + Illustrator + After Affects + AEP Scripts production skills (pixel-exact artboards, alpha handling, batch export)
Experience producing for LED displays, broadcast, or large-format digital signage - you understand pixel maps, content zones, and safe margins
Meticulous file-naming and delivery discipline - the operator on site loads your files, unsupervised
Nice to have:
Sports venue / arena LED content experience
Scripting for repeatable exports (Python/PIL, ImageMagick, or Photoshop scripting)
Experience working under brand-compliance rules from major global sponsors
Details:
Remote OK (must overlap with US Eastern working hours)
Fixed-price per deliverable package or hourly - state your rate and relevant LED/signage work in your bid
Start immediately and to finish ASAP (need it done today)
To apply: Share 2–3 examples of LED, broadcast, or large-format production work (not just design portfolios - we want to see spec-exact export work) and your availability July 8–13.
Skills tags: Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Graphic Design, Digital Signage, Broadcast Graphics, Large Format Design, Sports
