Kiribati Cultural Playing Card Design
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I’m commissioning a full 54-card deck that celebrates the rich traditions of Kiribati. Every card will be illustrated—no photography—so the artwork feels cohesive and distinctly hand-crafted.
Visual direction
• Face cards: Kings, Queens and Jacks dressed in traditional Kiribati costumes.
• Number cards: subtle cultural symbols—frigate birds, ocean-wave motifs, coconut trees—worked into the pips without overpowering gameplay.
• Jokers: optional chance to spotlight local legends or dance poses.
Scope & deliverables
1. 54 individual card fronts in vector format (AI or layered PSD, CMYK, 300 dpi, 3 mm bleed).
2. One card-back design that tiles perfectly.
3. Tuck-box artwork laid out on the printer’s template.
4. Print-ready PDF set plus editable source files.
Acceptance
• Colours match the CMYK palette I’ll supply.
• All text converted to outlines.
• Files pass the MPC/USPCC template checks or equivalent (I’ll provide specs).
I’ll handle print coordination; I simply need production-ready art. If Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or Procreate are your weapons of choice and you have a flair for Pacific-island aesthetics, I’d love to see a quick sketch or portfolio piece demonstrating the style you have in mind.
I require full commercial rights.
