Kids Pajama Surface Pattern Designer Needed

I'm Alexandra, owner of a small children's retail boutique in Woodbury, NJ, launching my own premium kids' pajama brand using 230gsm bamboo and Tencel fabrics. We are looking for a freelance surface pattern designer to create custom seamless repeating patterns for our 2026 holiday collection, with a modern, playful, and boutique-friendly style. The patterns should be clean, hand-drawn, using solid colors, minimal shading, and no realism or cartoon-like features, suitable for kids' apparel printing. Ideal candidates will have experience in surface pattern design, especially for textiles, apparel, or kids' products, and strong portfolios in seamless and tiling work. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is required, and the final deliverables should be provided in vector file formats (AI, EPS, SVG) along with high-res previews and tile examples. The project involves 1–2 main seamless patterns (with variations), with the process including 2–3 initial concepts, 2–3 rounds of revisions, and delivery of the finals. Concepts are needed in 2–4 weeks, with final artwork delivered soon after. We offer work-for-hire terms, with full rights transferred on final payment.
