Inner Contour Vectorization of Heart Frame

Job Posting: Precise Vectorization of Heart Inner Contour (SVG / PDF / DXF)
Project Description
I need a professional, clean vectorization of the inner contour of a heart-shaped frame, based on a provided photo/scan.
This is NOT a generic heart shape. I need the exact inner contour of my physical heart frame, recreated precisely as a technical, production-ready vector shape.
The result will be used for cutting dies, laser cutting, packaging tools, and production templates. Therefore, the contour must be perfectly smooth, technically accurate, symmetrical, and free from artifacts.
Why This Job Is Needed
The source photo/scan has multiple issues:
- Slight blur
- Light reflections
- Non-planar scanning (photo causes distortion)
- White background is not homogeneous
- Inner edge of the frame is dark but not sharply separated
This means:
Automatic contour extraction always results in jagged shapes, polygonal steps, irregularities, and random noise caused by brightness variations.
The automatically extracted contour is therefore technically correct at pixel level, but visually and technically useless for production.
What Needs to Be Done
1. Manually redraw the heart's inner contour based on the reference image.
2. Smooth and refine all curve transitions.
3. Create a symmetric, visually pleasing, and technically accurate heart shape.
4. Maintain the natural character of the original frame but avoid photo distortions.
5. Scale the final vector to exact dimensions:
- Height: 196 mm
- Width: 163 mm
6. Deliver the final shape in:
- SVG (AI-compatible)
- PDF (vector, 1 mm outline)
- DXF (laser-ready closed polyline)
7. Styles:
- Stroke: black, 1 mm
- Fill: white
- Closed curve only
Requirements for the Designer
- Strong skills in Illustrator / Affinity / CorelDraw / Inkscape
- Experience with bezier/spline curve drawing
- Understanding of technical shapes for manufacturing
- Experience with laser cutting or die-cut geometry is a plus
