Illustrators for Animation Scenes

For a two-month production sprint I need two illustrators who can translate detailed direction from our art director into polished, animation-ready artwork. The work is predominantly human-figure and full-scene compositions that will later be animated, so confident anatomy, perspective and staging skills are essential.

Adobe Illustrator will be your day-to-day canvas, though the workflow also touches ProCreate on iPad and Adobe Photoshop for sketching or paint-overs. A classical Fine-Arts eye combined with rapid digital sketching is exactly what fits the brief.

We do have a clear visual bible, colour palettes, line weights, character sheets, and layout grids—that you’ll be expected to follow. Feedback is fast and iterative; openness to revision is key.

Preferred set-up is on-site in our Delhi studio so you can pair directly with the art director, but I’m open to remote collaboration if your portfolio shows you can self-manage and still hit the same quality bar.

Deliverables (per storyboard scene)
• Rough thumbnail passes
• Clean vector line art in layered .AI format
• Colour-blocked finals matching the reference palette
• Exported PSD/PNG assets split into animation-ready layers

I review work every two days; a scene is accepted once it aligns with the guidelines, is layered correctly, and passes the animation test import.
