Illustration City Map Sets
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I’m commissioning a set of five upbeat, smartphone-friendly city maps to celebrate America’s 250th. The cities are Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York City, Boston, and Charleston. Each map should feel playful and inviting—think clear, cartoonish line work and bright, vibrant colors that pop on a mobile screen.
Core features to weave in: all National Park Service sites for each city, plus a curated mix of famous buildings, popular attractions, and key historical sites. For example, Lincoln Financial Field belongs on the Philadelphia map, while the White House is essential for DC. I can provide a comprehensive list for each city.
I need the artwork built natively in Adobe Illustrator so layers remain editable. Once complete, export each map as an optimized PDF sized for crisp legibility on modern smartphones (roughly 1080 × 1920 px or equivalent aspect ratio).
Deliverables
• Five individual .AI files (one per city)
• Five matching print-ready, screen-optimized PDFs
Acceptance
• Cartoon style and bright palette consistently applied across all cities
• Every National Park Service site accurately located and labeled
• At least 3–5 additional landmarks per city covering famous buildings, attractions, and historical sites
• Text and icons readable without zoom on a typical phone display
If this sounds like your forte, let’s talk timing and any landmark suggestions you have in mind.
