Illustrate & Design Children’s Flipbook

I’m combining two picture-book manuscripts for 3- to 5-year-olds into a single 48-page flipbook (plus a shared cover) and need 46 brand-new illustrations created and flowed directly into print-ready pages.

Style & references
You’ll be working in a clean, bold graphic style that matches the colour palette and visual language of sample spreads I’ll supply at the outset. Think flat shapes and limited yet vibrant colours. The topics will be inanimate objects and bits of vegetation—no people, animals, or fantasy creatures—so the storytelling relies on smart composition.

Scope of work
• 46 colour illustrations sized and cropped to final trim
• Full page-by-page layout for a 48-page flipbook plus front, back, and spine cover design
• Two rounds of proofs: you deliver a first draft PDF; I mark up; you revise; I review one more time; you finalise
• Final delivery:
– High-resolution, print-ready PDFs (CMYK, bleed, embedded fonts) for both halves of the flipbook
– The original layered artwork files for every illustration (PSD or AI), clearly organised for future use

Acceptance criteria
Illustrations must match the provided existing book, meet the printer’s technical specs, and reflect all feedback noted in the two proof rounds. A final press-quality PDF that passes my pre-flight check concludes the project.

Timeline and milestones are flexible; we’ll agree on rough draft, proof, and final hand-off dates before we start. I’m quick with feedback and happy to answer any questions as you sketch.

The rough cover is attached (in two separate files). The project is in the Samoan language but the text will be supplied in English also as will any instructions.
