Historic-Themed Event Calendar Design

Job ID: 40075818

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Objective:
Design a visually striking, historic-themed event calendar for America’s 250th birthday, to be featured by our boutique hotel. Reference our website www.hoteljuliendubuque.com for the overall feel and aesthetic of our business.

Layout & Style:

Calendar format with all 12 months displayed.

Each month has a different theme (see below) and corresponding black-and-white image.

Images should have blurred edges so they fade seamlessly into the background.

The hotel’s branding: historic, luxurious, boutique feel.

Color palette: shades of gold, red, and blue used in text, borders, accents, or overlays.

Themes by Month:

January: New Beginnings

February: American Love Stories

March: Prohibition (Specifically, Al Capone)

April: American Art and Music

May: Heroes of Service

June: Road Trip USA

July: Stars & Stripes Celebration (Tie into Abraham Lincoln)

August: American Pastimes (Specifically, Baseball)

September: Labor & Industry

October: Harvest & Folklore

November: Gratitude & Gathering

December: American Traditions

Design Notes:

Each month’s theme should be visually represented in the image while maintaining the black-and-white aesthetic.

Use blurred edges around images to allow the calendar background (gold, red, or blue accents) to show through.

Typography should be elegant, readable, and complement the historic, boutique aesthetic.

The final graphic should be suitable for print and digital sharing.

Deliverables:

High-resolution PDF and PNG versions.

Editable file (Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar) for future updates.
