Geometric Brand Logo Creation

Job ID: 40521727

Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD

Marsh Safety Solutions is a senior-led workplace health and safety (WHS) consultancy based in Adelaide, South Australia, operating nationally. We are going to embark on a significant rebrand. We are a premium boutique advisory firm — not a generic safety compliance provider.

We have an existing logo concept with a strong structural idea that we want professionally refined, vectorised and delivered as a complete production-ready brand mark set. The design direction, brand palette and typeface are already decided. This is a refinement and production brief, not a brand-from-scratch project.

The existing mark concept

The logo is built around an "M" formed by two vertical bars with an inverted triangle (funnel) between them. The funnel is divided into five horizontal stripe layers, progressing from dark at the top to a rust accent at the tip.

This is not arbitrary geometry. The funnel represents the hierarchy of controls — a core concept in workplace health and safety. The layers represent the five levels of risk control.

The wordmark "Marsh Safety Solutions" can be added or removed as required.

We have a working SVG concept to share with the selected designer as a starting point.

What needs to be done

Needs a professional designer to:

Consider and apply adaptations of the current theme,
Ensure the mark works at all sizes from favicon (16px) to large format print
Ensure the wordmark and mark relationship is well-considered and intentional
Produce the full production file set (see deliverables below)

Brand palette — earmarked below, could be updated if benficial

NameHexInk (primary)#1b1a17Rust (accent)#c2521dPaper (background)#f5f1e8Stone#e3dccdGrey-deep#615c52

Typeface — suitable adjustments considered on merit

Wordmark: Plus Jakarta Sans, weight 600
Tagline/descriptor: IBM Plex Mono, weight 500, letterspaced, uppercase

Style reference

Geometric concept mark with industry-specific meaning
Premium boutique professional services aesthetic
References: architecture studios, boutique law firms, senior advisory practices
NOT corporate Big 4, NOT startup playful, NOT safety-cliché (no hard hats, shields, ticks)
Restrained, editorial, confident

The website the logo will live on is drafted. It uses Fraunces serif for headlines, Hanken Grotesk for body copy, charcoal and warm paper tones throughout. Preferably logo needs to feel native to that environment.
