Full-Scale Signage Design Guidance

I have a range of outdoor and indoor signs that need to be laid out at their exact final dimensions and supplied press-ready. Alongside the artwork, I’m counting on your creative direction to suggest suitable materials, finishes and fabrication methods so the pieces not only print cleanly but also hold up in their respective environments.

Here’s how I see the collaboration working:
• You receive measurements, mounting information and location photos from me.
• You propose materials (e.g., acrylic, ACM, vinyl, back-lit film) with pros, cons and any special production notes.
• Once we agree, you build the artwork at 1:1 scale, using Illustrator or a comparable vector tool, and prepare print-ready PDFs with crop marks, bleed and colour profiles embedded.
• You hand off the packaged working files plus a simple spec sheet summarising sizes, substrates and finishing details.

Accuracy at full size is critical; the printer must be able to drop your file straight into their RIP without resizing. If this sounds straightforward, let’s get started—I’ll send the first set of dimensions right away.
