Fresh Spin on Existing Logo

The current logo look dated next to today’s slick branding. I need a refreshed version that immediately feels contemporary without losing the identity people already recognize. The brief is deliberately open: I’m happy for you to explore new color palettes, typography, or iconography—or keep any of those original pieces if they still work once modernized. Minimalist, bold, elegant…any style is on the table as long as the final mark feels cleaner, sharper, and ready for today’s digital and print uses.

I attached the old logo as reference. This is for a cafe. You can see what’s worth evolving and what can be left behind. I’m expecting a couple of concept directions, room for iterations, and polished deliverables created in a professional vector tool such as Adobe Illustrator.
