Freelance Mockup Artist (Adobe) – Print Shop Support

We’re a fast-paced, family-run print shop looking for a reliable freelance mockup artist to support our sales team with customer proofs and visual mockups.

This is not a creative design role — we are looking for someone who can take provided artwork and quickly turn it into clean, accurate mockups for client approval.

What You’ll Be Doing
Create customer mockups for:
T-shirts, hoodies, hats, and apparel
Banners, signs, stickers, and promo items
Place logos/artwork onto templates using Adobe software
Follow provided instructions for sizing, placement, and colors
Prepare simple proofs for customer approval (PDFs or images)
Make quick revisions based on feedback
What We’re Looking For
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe Photoshop
Strong attention to detail (alignment, sizing, spacing matters a LOT)
Ability to follow directions exactly (not reinvent designs)
Fast turnaround times (same-day or next-day preferred)
Organized and responsive communicator
Experience with print shops or apparel mockups is a big plus
This Role is NOT
❌ A branding/logo design position
❌ A “creative director” type role
❌ Someone who wants full creative control

This is ideal for someone who enjoys production work, systems, and knocking out clean, repeatable tasks efficiently.

Work is project-based (steady flow expected)
Paid per mockup or hourly (open to discussion)

Bonus Points If You:
Have worked with screen printing or embroidery shops
Understand print sizing and placement (left chest, full front, etc.)
Have experience using mockup templates or building your own
