Formal Lace Dress Design
Budget: $20 – $30 NZD
I’m building a new line of eveningwear and need a fresh, formal dress concept centred around elegant lace detailing. I’ll supply a concise mood-board and a few reference garments; from there, I’d like you to translate the vision into two or three concept sketches, refine the strongest look, and finish with a full tech pack that a manufacturer can follow without guesswork.
Key points to hit
• Sophisticated, floor-length silhouette with clean lines
• Tasteful lace placement that feels modern rather than ornate
• Clear fabric, trim and colour call-outs in the final flat
Deliverables
1. 2-3 initial sketches (hand-drawn or digital) exploring silhouette and lace application
2. One final coloured flat plus detailed technical sketch
3. Production-ready tech pack in editable Adobe Illustrator (AI) + PDF, complete with measurements, construction notes and lace repeat at 100 %
Acceptance criteria: neatly layered AI file, metric measurements, all trims labelled, and PDF preview identical to the source artwork.
