Folded Campaign Literature Yard Sign Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m preparing an 8.5" × 11" sheet that will be scored, folded, and slipped over a wire frame so it works as both a hand-out and a yard sign. What I need from you is the finished layout—print-ready at full bleed—as well as working files so I can adjust copy if something changes late in the race.
Front (the outside when folded): center a clean rectangular oval containing the single word “SMOKE,” printed on both panels so it’s readable from either side of the sign. Directly beneath the name, add “For BCC” at exactly one-third the height of the main type. An inverted version of the same SMOKE mark must sit on the opposite panel so the text is right-side-up when the sheet is flipped over the frame.
Back (inside when folded): this is the literature section. I’ll supply the final body copy, but leave room for a short bio paragraph, three concise platform points, and contact / QR code space. Keep margins generous enough that nothing disappears into the fold.
Structural marks: include faint dash guides for the fold lines and a small centered circle at the bottom edge to show where a dowel will be inserted. These should sit on a separate layer I can toggle off before sending to the printer.
Color palette and imagery are still flexible; propose something that pops from the curb yet remains professional—high contrast is key. Vector artwork in Adobe Illustrator or InDesign is preferred; raster elements should be 300 dpi minimum.
Acceptance criteria
• Editable source file (AI, INDD, or PSD with organized layers)
• Press-ready PDF with bleeds and trim marks
• All fonts outlined or linked plus any external assets included
Once the layout is approved I’ll sign off immediately so you can hand over the package and I can get it on press.
