Finalize Print-Ready Business Card
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My printing press just kicked back the business-card file I supplied, citing layout problems and missing font embedding. The card is already designed, so I don’t need a re-design—just technical fixes that make the file 100 % print-ready.
What needs attention
• Tidy up the layout so every element is perfectly aligned and evenly spaced—no drifting logos, uneven margins or off-centred text.
• Embed or outline every font in the document; the press should see no missing-font warnings.
• Make sure the trim size, bleed (3 mm) and safe zone are set correctly and the file is exported in CMYK with 300 dpi images.
Preferred tools are Adobe Illustrator or InDesign because I’ll need the packaged source file plus a press-quality PDF. Once you’re done, I’ll run it through the printer’s pre-flight check; the job is complete when it passes without errors.
