Engineering Graphic & Social Designer
Budget: $2 – $8 CAD
I’m looking for a part-time graphic designer who also “speaks” construction engineering. Most days you’ll be turning technical ideas into eye-catching social media posts, because that is the marketing material we push out the most. Expect to work mainly on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn etc. I’ll supply the rough copy or technical specs; you translate them into scroll-stopping visuals, size-optimized for each platform, and hand the files back to me. I handle the scheduling and community engagement, so your focus stays on design quality and brand consistency.
From time to time I’ll also ask for a short product brochure or data-rich flyer, so familiarity with layout tools such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or Affinity Publisher is important. An engineering background (formal degree or solid industry experience) is essential—you need to understand the difference between a self drill fastener and a battery track tool so the graphics stay technically accurate.
Deliverables (per week once we start):
• 3–5 fully-designed social posts (source files + ready-to-publish PNG/JPG)
• Occasional two-page brochure or sell-sheet when new products launch
• Quick revisions within 24 hours when minor spec changes occur
I’d like to onboard within the next two weeks. The role is ongoing, starting about 10–15 hours weekly, with a rate of USD 2–3 per hour. Preference goes to designers based in the Philippines so we’re in similar communication language for faster feedback and instructions.
If technical storytelling through design excites you, please share a portfolio that shows both your graphics skill and your ability to handle engineering or industrial content.
