Early Learning Designer for Kids

I am seeking a designer who is:
- Highly creative with a strong sense of color, layout, and child-friendly aesthetics
- Experienced in designing children’s books, flashcards, worksheets, puzzles, and print-ready materials
- Comfortable with creating both digital and print formats
- Skilled in Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop (or similar design tools)
- Able to follow brand moodboards, themes, and character styles
- Open to feedback, quick revisions, and collaborative working
- Detail-oriented with an understanding of kid-safe fonts, simple visuals, and clean readability
- Capable of delivering high-quality, print-ready files (CMYK, bleed, correct sizing, etc.)

Responsibilities
- Design storybooks, interactive books, flashcards, activity sheets, and puzzles
- Create engaging illustrations when needed (or adapt existing character designs)
- Develop themes, page layouts, icons, elements, and cover designs
- Ensure designs are unique, child-friendly, and visually delightful:
- Age-appropriate language and themes.

Ideal Skills:
- Experience in children’s product design
- Illustration abilities are a big plus
- Strong grasp of playful typography
- Creativity in storytelling and storytelling visuals
- Understanding of developmental stages of 0-5 year olds.
- Understanding of printing specifications and file formats
