We are launching a purpose-driven product brand that works with rural women artisans to create handmade, hand-embroidered, and hand-painted bags—tote bags, slings, laptop sleeves, and more. Our aim is to blend conscious fashion with storytelling, and we’re looking for passionate freelance designers to bring our ideas to life through impactful bag designs.
What We’re Looking For:
We want to collaborate with creative individuals who can:
- Transform brand concepts, themes, or cultural stories into bag designs (graphic, print-ready, or embroidery/hand-paint templates).
- Help build a cohesive design language that resonates with conscious consumers.
- Provide original and aesthetic artwork aligned with our storytelling approach.
Ideal Skills:
- Experience in fashion design, textile design, or surface pattern design.
- Strong understanding of composition, minimalism, and cultural storytelling.
- Familiarity with embroidery patterns, surface art, or eco-fashion (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop or equivalent tools.
- Creative thinking and openness to experimentation with themes like sustainability, tradition, feminism, slow living, etc.
Scope:
- Initial project of 4-6 bag design concepts.
- Potential for long-term collaboration depending on fit and interest.
