Desi Wedding Card Design & Animation

I’m ready to finalise both a static and an animated invitation for an upcoming Desi wedding. The overall aesthetic I want is unmistakably traditional yet finished with a clean, minimalist touch so the card feels timeless rather than busy.

Static card
• Layout must feature bride-and-groom illustrations blended with classic cultural motifs—think tasteful paisley or mandala accents—while still giving the wording pride of place.
• I’ll supply names, dates and programme details once we start; you will arrange the text so it remains the visual anchor of the design.
• Final files should arrive print-ready (CMYK, 300 dpi) in AI/PSD plus high-resolution PDFs.

Animated card
The motion piece is essentially the same artwork brought to life. I prefer subtle motion effects—gentle flourishes, light reveals, soft particle glimmers—rather than full cinematic scenes. A concise, mobile-friendly MP4 or MOV is perfect, along with the working After Effects (or equivalent) file.

What I need from you
• A portfolio link or at least two samples of Indian/Desi wedding cards you’ve already produced—static and, if possible, animated.
• Your timeline from concept to final delivery and how many revision rounds you include.
• Confirmation of the software you’ll use (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.).
