Decontamination Diagram Redesign
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I have an existing Microsoft Word diagram that explains our contaminated, transition and clean zones, but it feels too basic for real-world firefighter training. I need it rebuilt from the ground up in a clean, technical style so crews can grasp the layout instantly.
Here is what I’m after:
• Absolute clarity. Visually separate the contaminated, transition and clean zones, show the direction of people and material flow with clear arrows, and mark every equipment position so nothing is left to guesswork.
• Standard safety colouring. Please apply the typical red, amber and green hues (or other recognised rescue-service tints) rather than marketing palettes. I’ll lean on your judgement for consistency with common firefighting references.
• Print-ready at A4 and A3. The diagram will go into training binders and station walls, so keep proportions suitable for those two sizes without loss of legibility.
Deliverables
1. High-resolution PDF for printing.
2. Fully editable source file—Adobe Illustrator or InDesign preferred.
3. PNG or JPG for quick digital sharing.
I will send you the current Word file the moment we start; treat it as the content blueprint while improving layout, typography and overall visual hierarchy. Please retain every label and arrow but feel free to rearrange elements for better flow so long as operational meaning stays intact.
Acceptance criteria: the final artwork must print crisply on A3 without pixelation, zones and arrows must remain readable when reduced to A4, and all text layers must stay editable in the source file.
Please include examples of similar technical diagrams, instruction manuals or infographics if available.
