Custom Peacoat Design Blueprint
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
I have a clear image of a statement peacoat in royal-blue silk and I now need that vision converted into a professional, factory-ready paper blueprint.
Key design points I must see captured: a classic peacoat silhouette, double-breasted front, sharp epaulettes and a high collar that overlaps and can flip up to shield the lower face. I also want dual closure options— a concealed zipper for a sleek look and a traditional button line when I feel like styling it differently. Functional storage matters, so please map both outer welt pockets and generous internal pockets.
The end goal is a detailed, scale-correct spec package I can hand straight to a manufacturer. To make that happen, I’ll need:
• Clean front, back and side flats (hand-drawn or vector) that show all seams, top-stitching and hardware positions.
• Full measurement chart in centimeters, including graded sizes if you typically provide them.
• Fabric and notion call-outs noting “royal blue silk” as the shell, plus any recommended interlinings or fusible support for structure.
• Assembly notes that spell out the collar overlap mechanism, zipper insertion and button placement alternatives.
• A PDF master sheet suitable for printing on A3/A4 and an editable file (AI, PSD or similar).
I’m comfortable collaborating quickly over chat or video to iron out the finer details. If you have experience preparing tech packs or using tools like Adobe Illustrator, Gerber, Clo3D or similar, that’s a plus—just be sure what you deliver is clear and production ready on paper. Once we lock the blueprint, I’ll move directly to sampling with my manufacturer, so precision matters. Let’s get this coat on paper so it can come to life.
