The freelancer will analyze current packaging, container types, label content, competitor benchmarks, and regulatory requirements, then deliver clear recommendations.
Scope of Work
1. Audit of Current Packaging & Label Content
Review our existing:
Container types
Labels
Boxes
All product-specific content and SKUs
Evaluate strengths, gaps, inconsistencies, compliance risks, and opportunities.
Analyze content found on Amazon listings and any additional documents provided.
2. Competitor Analysis
Conduct a detailed study of:
Top competitor products in the USA (Amazon + major online/offline retail).
Comparable products in the Indian market.
Map the following:
Packaging/container formats
Label contents
Key selling propositions
Claims used
Positioning
Compliance or regulatory messaging
Identify best practices and gaps to exploit.
3. Recommendations for Container Types
Based on current evaluation + competitor study:
Recommend top 3 container/packaging options best suited for our product line.
Provide a final, clearly justified #1 recommended container type.
Each recommendation must include:
Pros/cons
Cost considerations
Regulatory feasibility
Sustainability considerations
Suitability for both USA & India markets.
4. Final Recommended Label Content Framework
Create a clear, structured content map that includes:
Mandatory Sections
Ingredients
Instructions for use
Warnings / precautions
Storage information
Barcodes (UPC/EAN guidance)
Country-specific legal requirements
India: Legal Metrology, FSSAI/AYUSH/Cosmetics (as applicable)
USA: FDA/FTC/CPSIA (as applicable)

Product KSPs (Key Selling Points)
Benefit hierarchy
Claims allowed vs. claims to avoid
Content hierarchy suitable for e-commerce packaging
