Corrugated Box Replica & Dieline
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need to recreate an existing corrugated box exactly as it is now and then generate a clean, production-ready dieline. I only have the physical sample in hand—no source files—so the project starts with carefully measuring every panel, flap, and cut-out to match those dimensions precisely.
Once the structure is mapped, I’ll want the artwork redrawn so it mirrors the original graphics, colours, and typography with print-ready clarity. Adobe Illustrator (or an equivalent vector tool) will be the core workspace, and I’ll expect the final dieline layered properly so my printer can separate cut lines, fold lines, and artwork without extra tweaks.
Deliverables
• Accurate dieline file (AI + PDF) at the exact dimensions of the sample
• Recreated artwork aligned to that dieline, in CMYK, fonts outlined, images embedded
• A proof PDF showing print and fold guides to confirm everything lines up before we go to press
Acceptance Criteria
• All measurements match the sample within a 1 mm tolerance
• Colours and graphics visibly indistinguishable from the original under normal lighting
• Files open without errors in Illustrator and pass my printer’s pre-flight check
If you have experience reverse-engineering packaging from physical pieces and can turn it into spotless print files, this should be a straightforward job.
