Convert Canva Box Design to AI
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
I need to convert an existing packaging design for a kids' product from Canva into a professional, print-ready, and fully editable Adobe Illustrator (.ai) file. The design is for the front and back of the box. The goal is not just a direct conversion, but also a professional refinement of the layout to ensure the highest quality for printing.
Scope of Work:
High-Fidelity Recreation: Recreate the front and back packaging design from the provided Canva link/PDF into a layered and fully editable Adobe Illustrator (.ai) file.
Vectorize All Graphics: All illustrations, icons, and graphic shapes must be manually and cleanly redrawn as scalable vector objects in Illustrator. No image tracing.
Professional Refinement: Review and improve the design's alignment, spacing, and typography for a polished, professional finish, while keeping the original design's core look and feel.
Print-Ready Setup:
Set the document's color mode to CMYK.
Incorporate a standard bleed of 0.125 inches (or as specified by my printer) around the design.
Ensure all critical text and graphics are within a safe zone.
If I provide a die-line template from my printer, place it on a separate, non-printing layer.
Font Handling:
Identify the fonts used in the Canva design.
If they are standard/free fonts, please use them.
If they are proprietary Canva fonts, please replace them with close equivalents from Adobe Fonts or other commercially licensed fonts. All text must remain as live, editable text.
Image Handling: The product images from the Canva file need to be high-resolution and correctly placed. They should be embedded within the final Illustrator file.
What I will provide:
A shareable link to the original Canva design.
A high-resolution PDF export from Canva.
The original, high-resolution product photos.
The printer's specifications and die-line template.
Final Deliverables Required:
Master Adobe Illustrator File (.ai): Fully layered and editable.
Print-Ready PDF (.pdf): High-quality PDF with bleeds and printer's marks included.
Source File Package: Including the .ai file and a list of any new fonts used.
Web-Use Files (.png, .jpg): High-resolution PNG and JPG versions of the final flat design for digital mockups or online use.
