Composite National Forest Wall Map
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have several official National Forest PDFs of south west Colorado, and I want them merged into one seamless 3-foot-by-5-foot wall map. Each division has to align correctly so that when it is printed full size every trail flows naturally across the joins.
The finished artwork must:
• be print-ready at final dimensions (3' x 5') with sufficient resolution for a crisp 300 dpi output;
• clearly highlight all trail routes and the main points of interest I specify, using consistent symbology and colour;
• retain a high level of detail—labels on trails, landmarks and POIs should remain legible at full scale;
• include a small margin or bleed suitable for framing.
• If there is any empty space that needs to be filled fill with either map keys, descriptions of POI's w/ images, or simple opaque satellite layer.
• I like style as the national forest maps as is, but feel free to add any color if you have any ideas that may look better.
You will receive the source PDFs from me as well as an example I have put together myself to help guide you if unfamiliar with the area. I will also include an example of how it will look on the wall just for reference. Please return a layered file (Illustrator, Photoshop, or another professional GIS/graphics format) plus a flattened high-resolution PDF, SVG, or any high resolution format ready to send straight to the printer. If you use any specialist GIS software, note that in the hand-off so I can edit later if needed.
