Clean Up Illustrator Font
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
See attached image. Ive had these lines put in the centre of the font by another font maker but hes done a really bad job. I would like you to fix the centre lines and make them look better with consistent thickness throughout the typeface with matching size etc. You can make supply the revised font file or just send the AI file and i'll send it to the other guy to finish off.
The centre lines for the numbers havent been done at all so you will need to put them in too.
You’ll open the existing AI file, methodically adjust every outline, smooth the Bézier handles, remove duplicate or stray anchor points, and make sure overlapping shapes are correctly merged. Please keep the work vector-based inside Illustrator—no raster tricks—so the font can later be compiled into a clean OTF/TTF.
Deliverables:
• Updated .ai file with all refined glyphs
• A quick proof sheet (PDF or PNG) showing A–Z, a–z, numerals, and punctuation rendered after your tweaks
Acceptance: the proof sheet visibly displays uniform line weight, even curves, and perfect alignment across baseline, cap height, x-height, and overshoot points. Once approved I’ll take care of final font generation; I just need the Illustrator artwork flawless and ready.
