Classic Umbrella Pattern Design

I’m launching a new line of umbrellas and want a small collection of timeless, classic-looking surface patterns. The mood I have in mind is clean and understated: minimal, repeatable geometric motifs that feel refined rather than trendy. Colour usage should stay restrained—think two or three harmonious tones per design—so the forms themselves can take centre stage.

I’m open on the exact shapes; circles, triangles, squares or any smart combination you feel suits a classic aesthetic are all welcome. What matters is that each repeat tile works seamlessly on a curved canopy and maintains visual balance when the umbrella is both open and closed.

Deliverables
• Three to five unique, seamlessly repeating tiles (AI or high-res PSD + transparent PNG previews)
• One mock-up per pattern applied to an umbrella silhouette (JPEG or PDF)
• Clear layer naming and, where relevant, colour-separated artwork to streamline printing

I work primarily with printers who prefer Adobe Illustrator files, so please create the master repeats in vector where possible. Please let me know your timeframe and how many initial concept sketches you’ll provide before finalising the tiles.
